When it comes to conditions that attack people, stress could
very well be number one. It is well known that any
stressful environment or event can lead to

could be anything like social stress, relationship
difficulties, getting a job, etc. Other situations that can

new place; even a fear towards the unknown can cause

situation and learn how to avoid depression. We should come up with an

Drinking and Drugs
Individuals who take drugs and alcohol tend to be more prone to
depression. When
people use these substances, especially at a young age, it
affects their brains in a number of negative
ways. While
these substances may appear to make a person feel good
temporarily, it will hurt them in the long run and in
most cases it provokes a difficult to control addition on
the person.
Drugs release the neurotransmitter known as dopamine in the
pleasure zone of the brain. For example, when you eat
delicious foods your dopamine level increases by around 50
percent. Sex will
double this amount of dopamine. However, when you take drugs,
your dopamine can increase as much as four to ten times the
normal levels.
After this ‘good feeling’ goes away you will feel very
depressed. This
substance can provide a good way to fry your brain.
In the long run, drugs will make a person more depressed than
it will make him happy. This effect will go downhill
because the person taking drugs will feel the need to have more
of the substance in order to stop the depression that comes
afterwards and this is how the addiction is
created.
